I’m adjusting the partition on my computer to try and add some free space to my C drive. Its been 3 hrs now and its still doing its thing. Its at 89% and hopefully when its finished it will successful.

One risk from doing this is losing all my data!! So far no problems but I keep thinking what if some error will happens and everything was lost? all my work! all my programs and all the fonts Ive been collecting! its still at 89% and its taking forever. All my data should still be there right? Well this teaches me a lesson to always ALWAYS back up! ALWAYS!! In the meantime I’ll continue blogging…

i noticed how much of a pack rat i am. i dont have a huge collection of clothes, shoes or even DVDs and CD’s but what i do collect is books and magazines. i have a huge shelf of design magazines and books.

On my hard drive  have a collection of images that inspire me to do better work. Oh yeah, i also collect fonts. Aside from my work those files are really what id hate to lose in this partition. 90% almost done…

Turns out there is a lack of supply for “elderly asian woman” in stock photography. With my grandmas help and my trusty camera we will flood the market with photos of elderly asian woman gardening, walking the dog, reading, looking at food labels, contemplating about life etc.

91%….i could probably  clean my room or workout a bit while i wait… supposedly a cleaner room = more productivity. I’ve been pretty good at keeping my room clean though. it used to be like a landfill and i would have trouble finding stuff. One thing i did notice; when my room is completely clean its easier to maintain in the long run.

I’ve been hooked on root beer lately. its the vanilla taste from it that i really enjoy. I wonder if its possible to grow my own Vanilla beans? then i could make a package design for it.

HAHA! IT WORKED!! whew! backing up files now.. time to install CS5.

Here is a ticket design I put together for FCSV Community Center. Next time I’m really gonna push the design forward and come up with something more portfolio worthy. LOL also got this in the mail last week from Fontshop. Looks like someone caught the name I requested to use when I ordered the catalog. =) Who is this Font Lord?

Ok I really need to update the design of this blog and get rid of these annoying lightboxes. they don’t let me post 2 separate images. Every time I try they merged into one gallery.

I dont watch much TV but saw that Comedy Central has a new look. Comedy Central Brand Transformation from thelab on Vimeo. I tried going on thelab’s site but they didn’t provide much info. Here is a link that talks more about the redesign and the fonts used. Enjoy!
